Quantity Surveyor (ACMV / Electrical)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers within the M&E industry.

• Stay updated on market pricing trends to ensure competitive and accurate tender submissions.

• Manage and administer ACMV/Electrical tender processes in accordance with company procedures.

• Plan, coordinate, and control all tendering activities to ensure timely submission.

• Review project scope and commercial requirements to identify potential risks and cost implications.

• Prepare and follow up on Requests for Quotations (RFQ) with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain timely pricing and technical information.

• Perform Bill of Quantities (BOQ) take-offs from ACMV drawings, point schedules, and architectural drawings.

• Compile price comparisons, cost summaries, and technical proposals for tender submission.

• Review addendum and corrigendum documents and update costing and technical proposals accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the M&E construction industry (ACMV/Electrical preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

• Responsible, proactive, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
