Job Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, tender documents and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Conduct quantity take-off from architectural and structural drawings
- Assist in tender evaluation, subcontractor comparison and negotiation
- Process monthly progress claims, valuation and certification
- Evaluate Variation Orders (VO) and assess cost implications
- Monitor project budget, cost control and cost reporting
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, subcontractors and clients
- Maintain accurate cost records and prepare final accounts
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience as QS in Singapore construction projects
- Familiar with local construction standards, SMM7 and contract practices
- Proficient in construction software: AutoCAD, Excel, QS estimation tools
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and good documentation skills
- Team player, responsible, able to meet tight deadlines
