Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Trading Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of trading. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist traders with daily operations, including market analysis, trade execution, and post-trade reporting.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, including equities, derivatives, fixed income, or commodities.
- Monitor market trends, news, and economic data to identify trading opportunities.
- Support the development and back testing of trading strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for trading strategies and risk management.
- Maintain and improve trading tools and databases.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a passion for financial markets.
- Basic understanding of trading concepts and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, R, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
