The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join as one of the founding members of a new quantitative trading desk
We are looking for exceptional Quant Traders who can apply proven market making techniques from traditional financial markets while helping define liquidity strategies for the next generation of tokenized financial instruments
The role combines two key mandates
- Apply established liquidity provision, pricing, inventory management, and hedging strategies from equities, FX, commodities, and derivatives to tokenized assets
- Research and develop new trading strategies that capitalize on the unique characteristics of tokenization, including
- 24/7 market
- On-chain settlement
- Mint/redeem mechanic
- Cross-chain and cross-venue liquidity fragmentation
- Basis opportunities between tokenized assets and their underlying securitie
You'll have direct ownership of trading strategies, P&L, and the opportunity to shape the desk alongside senior leadership
Key Responsibilities
Market Making & Trading
- Design, develop, and operate automated two-sided market making strategies across
- Tokenized equities
- Tokenized gold, Digital assets
- Provide continuous and competitive liquidity across centralized and decentralized trading venues
- Develop pricing, quoting, hedging, and execution models
- Manage inventory, spreads, and execution quality under live market conditions
Risk & Portfolio Management
- Own real-time inventory and trading risk
- Manage Position sizing
- Inventory skew Adverse selection
- Position limits, Weekend and overnight gap risks
- Hedge tokenized equity and commodity exposure using: Underlying cash instruments Futures,Tokenized proxies,Delta-one product
Quantitative Research
Research and develop alpha opportunities unique to tokenized markets, including
- Basis trading between tokenized assets and underlying securities
- Mint/redeem (primary issuance) arbitrage
- Cross-chain liquidity fragmentation
- Cross-exchange arbitrage
- Stablecoin settlement efficiencies
- Funding and basis opportunities on derivatives
- Market microstructure optimization
Technology & Infrastructure
Partner closely with engineering teams to build
- Low-latency execution systems
- Exchange connectivity
- DEX integration
- On-chain execution capabilities
- Monitoring and alerting system
- Trading infrastructure improvement
Operations & Governance
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Custody teams
- upport robust trading governance within a CMS-licensed environment
- Manage operational aspects of tokenized securities including
- Corporate actions,Dividend
- Stock split,sIssuer dependencies
- Contribute to desk strategy, hiring, infrastructure, and long-term platform development
Required Qualification
- Proven experience trading or making markets in traditional financial markets, including
- Cash Equities
- ETF
- Futures
- Demonstrated success operating automated market making or quantitative trading strategies with live P&L ownership
- Strong understanding of Market microstructure
- Liquidity provision
- Inventory management
- Quoting model
- Deep knowledge of Position sizing
- Adverse selection
- Basis risk
- Risk controls
- Experience managing live trading risk under volatile market conditions
- Strong programming skills in Python / C++ or Rust
- Strong statistical, quantitative, and time-series modelling capabilities
- Experience using derivatives (options, futures, or delta-one products) for hedging and risk management
- Experience trading digital assets and familiarity with Centralized exchange / DEX
- On-chain execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build new trading strategies in rapidly evolving markets
Preferred Qualification
- Options market making experience
- Experience trading tokenized Real-World Assets (RWAs)
- Experience with delta-one or index products
- Familiarity with creation/redemption (AP-style) workflows
- Experience working within regulated financial institutions under MAS or equivalent regulatory regimes
- Understanding of CMS licensing requirements, trading conduct rules, fit-and-proper standards, and appointed representative obligations
