Quantitative Developer - Leading Hedge Fund

Bonhill Partners are proud to be supporting a world-class Hedge Fund in their search for a Quantitative Developer to join their high-performing Singapore office.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and quantitative trading, building and optimizing real-time trading systems that drive performance across global markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong technologist with deep computer science expertise and proven experience in high-performance, low-latency environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize the firms in-house trading systems to support quantitative strategies.
• Collaborate with traders and researchers to deliver innovative solutions that enhance execution and strategy performance.
• Apply expertise in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems to solve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and able to operate under extreme real-time conditions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Exceptional programming skills in C++ (modern standards).
• Strong proficiency in Python for prototyping and automation.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and performance tuning.
• Experience building real-time, low-latency trading systems (market access / connectivity experience highly valued).
• Asset class exposure in Crypto, FX, or Rates.
• Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline) with a strong grounding in computer science fundamentals.
