Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven Quant Analyst who will also play a key role in trade execution for our portfolio managers. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of markets, data, and real-time decision-making. You will support the trading team with high-quality execution, while also building and maintaining data-driven tools, analytics, and dashboards that enhance our trading performance and management visibility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain datasets, indicators, and internally used analytics to support trading decisions.
  • Develop Python-based scripts and automated pipelines for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
  • Create dashboards or reporting tools to provide management and portfolio managers with real-time visibility on key metrics (positions, P&L, market indicators, etc.).
  • Support the development of simple quant models or signals for idea generation and monitoring.
  • Execute trades accurately and efficiently across relevant markets, ensuring best execution for portfolio managers.
  • Monitor market liquidity, bid-ask dynamics, and trading conditions to optimize order placement.
  • Track and analyze execution performance, including slippage, fill rates, and transaction costs.
  • Maintain strong communication with traders, brokers, exchanges, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day order flow across multiple strategies and asset classes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor in Engineering, Quant Finance, Applied/Computational Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of quant analytics experience, coupled with at least 3 years of hands-on trade execution experience(equities, commodities, FX, or futures).
  • Strong Python programming skills (Pandas, NumPy, web-scraping, data automation).
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, order types, and microstructure fundamentals.
  • Experience working with large datasets, market data terminal, APIs, or databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Self-starter mindset with high attention to detail, reliability, and integrity.
