The Position

Objective:

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented polytechnic student to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team as an

intern. This internship provides hands-on exposure to quality validation, change control processes, and industry-

standard practices

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety, Health & Environment:
  • Comply with all RSTO's Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, never put oneself and

others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace accidents, near misses and hazards as soon

as practicable.

  • Observe all RSTO's site security measures at all times and report any suspicious characters/objects

& damaged security mechanisms to Site Security immediately.

  • Quality Validation and Change Control
  • Support the day-to-day operation in accordance with the approved quality SOPs and Policies for a

multi-platform, multi-product, GMP biotech contract manufacturing facility.

  • Assist in reviewing validation life cycle documents and testing protocols
  • Support the team in identifying and resolving quality issues
  • Support change control activities by familiarizing with processes and procedures, assisting in

documenting and tracking changes, and understanding their impact on quality and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality tests and results while contributing to the

preparation of quality documentation and reports.

  • Collaboration and Learning
  • Work closely with the team to understand quality validation principles and practices
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions
  • Seek feedback and continuously improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications
Education:


  • Currently pursuing a diploma in science, engineering or other relevant disciplines

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of Quality System principles, practices and standards for the pharmaceutical

industry

  • Basic understanding of cGMP relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Basic understanding of Pharmaceutical Quality Systems and Processes
  • Team player, fast learner, problem solver, possesses a continuous learning attitude, systematic

thinking, planning and self-organizing skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and organized approach to tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
