Quality Team Leader – Specialty Chemicals

Stemgenic is proud to be partnering exclusively with a growing international specialty chemicals manufacturer establishing a new manufacturing facility in Singapore as part of its Asia-Pacific expansion strategy.

The company is recognised globally for its expertise in high-performance polyurethane, epoxy, silicones, adhesives, sealants, and advanced material technologies — supporting industries such as e-mobility, energy storage, automotive electronics, industrial systems, and electrical engineering applications.

Lead the Quality laboratory setup and analytical operations for a new specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Singapore. Establish the QC function from day one, including a mandatory 4-week training programme at the European headquarters prior to production start.

• Lead routine and non-routine analytical testing activities
• Support commissioning and setup of the QC laboratory
• Oversee laboratory documentation, SOPs, calibration, and quality records
• Support investigations relating to product deviations, CAPA, and customer complaints
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Quality Executives
• Partner closely with Production, HSE, and overseas Quality stakeholders

• 5–8 years of QC laboratory experience within manufacturing
• Strong wet chemistry and laboratory instrumentation exposure
• Experience leading small laboratory teams (mandatory)
• Exposure to polyurethane, epoxy, silicone, polymer, or specialty chemicals preferred
• Strong quality-system and manufacturing support experience

• Pioneer hire within a new Singapore manufacturing operation
• Exposure to German manufacturing standards and international technical teams
