Roles & Responsibilities
- The individual shall report to the Site Manager for the project.
- You shall be responsible for the preparation, not limited to, of the Project Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures, Inspection Dossiers, Test Certificates and carrying out stage-wise and final inspection activities.
- Your key responsibility is to ensure professional quality control and assurance for the delivery of works in excellent quality in compliance with the client's requirements.
- You shall co-ordinate with project team for all the works requiring your QC expertise/technical support for the works to be carried out effectively and as per specifications.
- You shall support the Site Manager in the clearance of certain vendors and NDT contractors (if sourced out).
- You shall support in the supervision of works such as fabrication, construction, welding, mechanical, piping and structural installations.
- You shall randomly check the essential parameters as per the WPS requirements and Quality Procedures, witness PT, MPI, UT, Hardness testing and any other activities requiring your expertise.
- You shall prepare Stage Inspection Reports as per ITP.
- You shall lead the team to co-ordinate Plan and execute NDE works as per requirements and monitor the backing system for welding consumables, pre-heating and inter-pass temperature of Welds.
- You shall carry out post-test requirements on, but limited to, Bolt, nut, Gaskets and Bolt tightening or torque as per approved procedures, check that the line is complete and ready for test and prepare a punch list of outstanding items.
- Ensure final document preparation & review and sign off of all relevant project documents, coordinate with client for the submission of documents as per client requirements.
- Customer service oriented mindset.
- Relevant experience in the Petrol-Chemical Industry.
- Possess certifications in Non-destructive testing systems / various types of welding / QA/QC certifications, audit compliances and certificates.
- Relevant experience in welding, NDT methods, total quality management and process.
