Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct comprehensive testing of low voltage switchboard panels, including insulation resistance tests, contact resistance tests, high voltage tests and function tests.
- Perform inspections and audits of electromechanical assemblies to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
- Document test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and client review.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and procedures.
- Train production staff on quality control processes and provide guidance on quality-related matters.
- Ensure the quality of products meets the required standards and specifications.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition and stay updated with industry standards and advancements in testing methodologies.
- Support onsite testing, FAT, SAT and troubleshooting activities, if necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Specifications
- Minimum a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in testing low voltage switchboard panels or similar electrical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing procedures and standards (e.g., IEC 61439).
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in electrical testing or quality control.
