Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Lead investigations into root cause analysis and corrective action reports (8D) for customers. Collaborate with other departments and SPT sites to resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield and reduce scrap cost.
- Support 5S improvement through regular audits and Gemba walks.
- Investigate and take corrective action in response to process excursions.
- Prepare quality reports and hold regular quality communication sessions with manufacturing staff to promote quality education.
- Train QA inspectors on good quality practices, data collection, reporting, and feedback.
- Prepare documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and One Point Lessons (OPL) to support quality improvement activities.
- Conduct Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) on critical production measurement devices and ensure all devices are fit for purpose.
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various departments in cross-functional team activities
Education / Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- LSS Green Belt preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of post-graduate experience in Semiconductor, Electronic Manufacturing, Medical Equipment, or related industries.
- Systematic and analytical problem-solving skills experienced in the 8D process.
- Good working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), MSA, FMEA, and statistical techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
