We are representing our client to hire for a Quality Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing operations, ensuring machined components meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CNC machining and manufacturing operations on quality-related matters.
- Work closely with machinists, production, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective actions using root cause analysis tools.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI), audits, and customer quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality management systems.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing quality, preferably within aerospace or precision engineering.
- Hands-on experience supporting machinists and precision machined components.
- Knowledge of NCRs, CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to CNC machining, special processes, CMM inspection, AS9102 FAI, and supplier quality.
