Technical Capabilities

Quality Engineering / QA

For candidates focusing on QA or Quality Engineering, we are looking for an engineering approach to quality, rather than treating testing only as a final manual validation step.

Relevant experience may include:

. Designing test strategies based on product and technical risk

. Functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing

. Test automation

. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

. API testing and validation

. Testing distributed and integrated systems

. Identifying edge cases and failure scenarios

. Performance, reliability and security-conscious testing

. Defect investigation and root-cause analysis

. Working with developers to improve testability and prevent defects earlier in the SDLC

. Using evidence and metrics to make quality and release recommendations
