We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to lead and strengthen our product and process quality systems. This role ensures product specifications are consistently met while driving continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enhance the department's total quality system to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Facilitate product and process improvements by providing technical guidance on Quality Engineering (QE) tools and applications.
- Conduct system and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and implement preventive quality initiatives to achieve customer quality targets.
- Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings on non-conforming materials and drive resolution of quality issues.
- Monitor First Time Quality (FTQ) metrics and drive corrective actions for top recurring issues.
- Respond to customer returns and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Drive initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction, ensuring performance targets on customer scorecards are met.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
- Prior experience in semiconductor or automotive electronics manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in quality engineering tools, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality system implementation (TS 16949 / QS 9000 / ISO 9000).
- Familiarity with reliability testing or failure analysis will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
