Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Precision Manufacturing industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Quality Director (Factory Quality & Customer Quality Management) as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the Managing Director.
THE ROLE
The Quality Director (Factory Quality & Customer Quality Management) is responsible for:
- Take the lead on factory quality by making sure production processes follow quality standards, improving factory workflows, and ensuring every unit is built to a high standard.
- Partner with different teams to boost product quality and reliability, fix issues early, and improve long-term performance.
- Manage customer-related quality issues, working directly with customers or supporting service teams to resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
- Oversee supplier quality, ensuring all incoming parts meet requirements before they are used in production.
- Improve field performance and product reliability by reviewing issues that appear in the field and implementing actions to prevent them from happening again.
Requirements:
- Over 12 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality functions, with strong hands‑on involvement in factory work and customer support. This includes practical experience in supplier quality, factory quality, product reliability, field performance, and handling customer quality management.
- Over 5 years of team leadership, guiding people and improving day‑to‑day operations and results.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills, able to work well with customers and cross‑functional teams while analyzing issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in high‑volume, precision manufacturing environments, with solid knowledge of global Quality Assurance processes and the ability to handle complex quality challenges effectively.
- Able to travel more than 50% of the time.
