Perform quality inspections on incoming, stored, and outgoing flanges, pipes, fittings, and related products.
Verify product specifications, dimensions, materials, quantities, markings, and documentation against customer and purchase requirements.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments and gauges.
Ensure products comply with applicable standards such as ASME, ASTM, ANSI, DIN, JIS, EN, and customer specifications.
Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC), inspection reports, and quality documents.
Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolutions relating to quality matters.
Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
Work closely with suppliers, warehouse personnel, sales staff, and customers on quality-related matters.
Monitor and improve quality control procedures and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Supervise and train QC personnel where applicable.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or related disciplines.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality control, inspection, or quality assurance within the piping, steel, engineering, marine, oil & gas, or industrial products industry.
Good knowledge of flanges, pipes, fittings, valves, and industrial materials.
Familiarity with international standards including ASME, ASTM, ANSI, DIN, JIS, and EN standards will be an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
