Job Summary
- Responsible for assisting the Head of Site Quality to implement quality control processes to ensure product meets the standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage quality control systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the annual quality control objectives in alignment with the organizational strategy, vision, and objectives
- Implementing quality control processes supporting the right operation of the quality control activities, in accordance with the Sanofi global procedures
- Ensuring compliance of the quality control processes with internal and external quality requirements, regulations, and certifications
- Ensuring that any investigation related to quality control activities is performed in a timely manner to support final decision
- Maintaining a system to ensure compliance and that quality risks are properly identified, tracked, and mitigated for the quality control activities
- Ensuring a quality control schedule is in place to support the timely release of products and the adherence of the test's execution to the committed standard times
- Ensuring the testing and release of all incoming materials
- Concluding on the conformance of analytical test results with regards to specifications to support the release of product batches
- Ensuring the use of validated analytical methods in compliance with the regulatory dossiers and the maintenance, qualification, and calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of the QC activities
- Establishing metrics and monitoring data for the quality control activities, to identify trends and issues and to implement action plan
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the quality control activities, to report on the performance and effectiveness
- Promoting a culture of quality throughout the quality control organization
- Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance the quality control efficiency and effectiveness fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance quality control processes and outcomes
- Leading and managing the quality control team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation
- Ensuring management of budget allocation to QC department, and ensuring optimized expenses for the QC activities
- Preparing and participating in regulatory inspections and audits, providing expertise on quality control
Requirements
- Degree or background in Chemistry is ideal
- Microbiology background or experience managing a Microbiology lab team
