Role Summary:
You will be responsible for managing and improving quality control in semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement. The role includes ensuring finished wafers meet quality requirements. Handle quality events, perform routine quality monitoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive quality management by ensuring thorough risk assessment, accurate documentation, cross-functional alignment, and compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborate with fab and engineering teams to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and process requirements.
- Response to quality incidents, including root cause analysis, and drive effective containment and corrective actions.
- Monitor, analyse, and report quality metrics escalate abnormalities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage visual and microscopic inspections on finished wafers to identify defects.
- Set up, maintain, and release inspection tool recipes (e.g., AVI, OM, sorter, and packing tools).
- Conduct visual inspection on rejected parts, including root cause identification, risk assessment, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with expertise for in-process or outgoing quality management.
- Proficient in quality standards, knowledgeable on semiconductor processes, strong analytical, communication and quality tools.
