Duties:
- Supervise QA inspectors and technicians in daily quality operations, ensuring tasks are planned, assigned, and monitored according to standards.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to enhance team competency and support continuous improvement.
- Promote quality awareness and best practices across departments through effective leadership.
- Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for all QA activities.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external quality audits.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems such as ISO, HACCP, or GMP.
- Manage customer complaints professionally by conducting investigations, performing root cause analysis, and executing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Communicate investigation results and resolutions to customers and management, maintaining a detailed complaint log.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product quality and reduce rework or waste.
- Participate in product trials, validations, and change control processes.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to management.
- Maintain and update SOPs and other quality documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and root cause analysis tools.
