Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will work closely with the Assistant QA Manager to maintain and enhance the company's quality standards. This role ensures services are delivered consistently by identifying and resolving issues, conducting root cause analysis, and managing operational risks. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives, assists in managing and maintaining all internal and external audits, addresses customer quality concerns, and delivers training to promote a strong quality-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure operations follow quality standards, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, manage and maintain all internal Quality Assurance (QA) activities across the company to ensure full compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
  • Support and maintain external customer audits (e.g., STP PLUS renewals) and conduct audits on warehouse, import, and export processes.
  • Handle claims and quality-related programmes.
  • Use 8D and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues, implement preventive measures, and share best practices.
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and KPI reports.
  • Act as a point of contact between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Coordinate projects, assist with system enhancements with IT, provide training, and support daily operations.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years freight forwarding experience; air and ocean freight preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • High accuracy in documentation and operational processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
