Implement and maintain FSSC 22000 food safety management system risk assessments quality specifications documentation and procedures to comply with statutory requirements and company policies
Oversees the day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with FSSC22000 standards
Lead and drive the team for continuous improvement on system and process
Manage customer complaints, lead investigations to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Work closely with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and ingredients meet the required quality and safety standards
Responsible for development of work instructions and job safety analysis for production floor
Responsible for training and certification of production team members
Work with R&D and production team to ensure smooth execution of new products develop to mass production
Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/processes/hygiene violations in a timely manner
Handle regulatory and customer audits
Plan, organize, co-ordinate and delegate to ensure smooth operation of the QA department daily
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of work experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing/food service/food retail
Familiar with food regulatory/retail hygiene requirements is an added advantage
Experience in internal auditing and microbiological testing methods is preferred
Knowledge of GMP/HACCP/GFSI/HALAL, FSSC22000 is preferred
