Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems and standards across SPEMOCEAN's offshore projects and services. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing quality audits, monitoring compliance with industry regulations and company procedures, and analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. The Quality Assurance Manager collaborates closely with operations, technical, and project teams to resolve quality issues, manage corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role also prepares quality documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, and provides guidance and training to promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality management, including developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) in oil & gas/ EPC.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies such as auditing, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Background in offshore oil and gas, energy, or related heavy industry, with strong understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and operational best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret quality metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead quality initiatives, and influence continuous improvement in a multicultural, project-based environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to produce clear procedures, guidelines, and audit documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in quality or auditing are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial quality role, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects or sites.
