Job Summary
Lead quality assurance initiatives by developing standards, managing QA teams, improving processes, ensuring compliance, analyzing data, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance product and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and define quality standards, processes, procedures, and benchmarks to ensure products or services meet required specifications
- Lead and manage QA teams including testers, inspectors, and analysts to evaluate quality at various production stages
- Identify inefficiencies and defects in processes and implement improvements to reduce errors and enhance consistency
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications such as ISO, and internal policies
- Analyze defect rates, performance metrics, and customer feedback to inform quality decisions and reporting
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and product teams to proactively resolve quality issues and improve outcomes
- Apply knowledge of quality frameworks such as Six Sigma and Lean to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate quality findings and document processes clearly to support transparency and accountability
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Health & Safety, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or related roles
- Particular expertise in quality standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of quality frameworks
