- Conduct non-regression testing for upcoming application releases to verify system reliability and product quality
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium-based automation frameworks
- Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and support timely resolution
- Review test outcomes, detect defects, and manage issue tracking through to closure
- Actively contribute to the test automation community by sharing expertise, standards, and best practices
- Drive automation initiatives to shorten regression testing cycles and expand overall test coverage
- Execute and oversee scheduled testing activities on daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
- Continuously enhance existing testing processes, workflows, and automation frameworks
- Prepare detailed test reports, findings, and supporting documentation for stakeholders
- Participate in rotational shift arrangements to support coordination with overseas headquarters and global operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or a related computing discipline
- At least 3-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably within banking or financial services environments
Strong practical experience in the following areas:
- Test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium and Java
- Programming and scripting languages such as Python and Java
- Source code and version control platforms, especially Git
- CI/CD tools including Jenkins or equivalent platforms
- SQL scripting and database technologies, preferably SQL Server or Oracle
- RESTful API testing and validation
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Docker, Kafka, and MQSeries technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise job schedulers such as Control-M
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus
- Experience working within Agile delivery and ITIL-based environments
- Understanding of Lean management methodologies
- Professional certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB, or other related credentials
