An established tech firm who is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to work on exciting new greenfield projects from the ground up.
You will build automation frameworks and quality standards right alongside product and engineering teams, leveraging AI-assisted development and Vibe Coding to ship high quality, accelerate delivery, and shape how we test from Day One.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Automation on Greenfield Projects: Design and implement Web, API, and Mobile automation frameworks for brand-new products — no legacy baggage. Define test architecture, tooling, and best practices from scratch
- Leverage AI & Vibe Coding: Use LLM coding assistants and AI workflows to generate test cases, write scripts, refactor code, debug issues, and create documentation at high speed
- Shift‑Left Quality: Embed quality early in the SDLC; integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines, implement quality gates, and establish reliable release guardrails
- Drive Technical Excellence: Choose modern tech stacks, build reusable components, and promote AI‑powered testing across the team — set the standard for future projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years hands‑on automation experience, strong coding skills in Python / JavaScript ..
- Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Pytest, JMeter or equivalent
- Proven experience using AI coding tools to write, review, and optimize code; able to validate and improve AI‑generated output
- Solid understanding of RESTful API, databases, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Greenfield mindset: comfortable defining standards, making technical decisions, and building something from zero
- Excellent communication, able to collaborate cross‑functionally and share knowledge
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with regional team members.
