Job Description

Jobscope:

  • Perform routine chemistry and biochemistry testing on raw materials, in-process samples, utilities, environmental monitoring and finished products.
  • Support daily QC laboratory operations to ensure timely testing.
  • Prepare, review and maintain QC documents (e.g. SOPs, test records and work instructions).
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, reagents and testing materials.
  • Follow laboratory safety, GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Support reagent and analytical method qualification, verification and validation activities.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinate equipment servicing and support qualification activities when required.
  • Assist in laboratory investigations for OOS, OOT, deviations and equipment-related issues.
  • Support CAPA implementation and root cause investigations.
  • Participate in inspection readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance QC efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated QC laboratory is preferred.
  • Knowledge of chemistry and/or biochemistry laboratory testing.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment, calibration and basic troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of GMP, GLP and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation, SOPs and good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Exposure to OOS, OOT, deviation investigations and CAPA is an advantage.
  • Able to follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to provide occasional weekend or after-hours support when required
