Key Responsibilities
Quality System & ISO Compliance:
. Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015, including the review and update of the Quality Manual, procedures, and work instructions.
. Assist QA Manager in internal quality audits track and ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
. Prepare quarterly Management Review Reports summarizing KPIs, audit results, NCR trends, and improvement initiatives.
. Support and coordinate external ISO and customer audits, including data preparation and follow-up actions.
Quality Data Management & Reporting:
. Collect, analyze, and report key quality metrics, including:
o First Pass Yield (FPY)
o Customer Complaint Rate
o NCR frequency and severity
o Internal audit findings by category
o On-time closure rate of CAPAs
. Maintain and analyze statistical quality control data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
. Use Excel or statistical tools to generate Pareto charts, control charts, and dashboards to drive data-backed decisions.
First Article Inspection & Product Conformance:
. Prepare and submit First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA) to customers.
. Maintain documentation control for FAIs, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), calibration records, and compliance certificates (e.g., ROHS, REACH).
. Perform dimensional and functional inspections using measuring tools including CMM.
Non-Conformance & Customer Complaints:
. Investigate and analyze non-conformance incidents using root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
. Lead preparation of 8D reports to resolve customer complaints, track effectiveness, and identify recurring issues.
. Monitor and report cost of poor quality (COPQ) on a monthly basis.
Continuous Improvement & Training:
. Drive continuous improvement using data-driven insights and structured problem-solving (PDCA, DMAIC).
. Identify and deliver training programs for QC Analysts on inspection methods, data recording, and interpretation.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, R&D) to resolve systemic quality issues.
Documentation & Record Control:
. Ensure proper control and archiving of quality records, calibration logs, and compliance documents.
. Assist in the creation and revision of SOPs, inspection standards, and quality-related procedures.
Supplier Quality Support (Optional/As Needed):
. Provide feedback and data-driven insights to suppliers regarding incoming material quality.
. Maintain supplier performance metrics (e.g., delivery quality score, rejection rate).
Key skills
Education & Experience:
. Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Science, or any related field.
. At least 2-3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or mechanical/lubricant environment.
Technical Skills:
. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS and ability to conduct internal audits.
. Ability to perform CMM inspections.
. Understanding of ROHS and REACH compliance standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
. Internal and external audit performance.
. NCR closure rate and timeliness.
. Customer complaint resolution and response time.
. Adherence to quality targets and compliance rates.
Timeliness and accuracy of reports and documentation.
Essential Criteria
. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
. Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
