The Company is an owner-operator and ship manager of offshore support vessels for the offshore marine oil and gas sector. Also provide ship management services which include repair and maintenance, crew management, operations safety, purchasing and procurement and marketing chartering and rental of equipment.
Responsibility
- Responsible for Health and Safety for the company which includes health, safety and environmental awareness of staff and contractors
- Developing procedures for HSE management system.
- Ensure that HSEMS is effective, implemented, and maintained in accordance with ISO, 90001, 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements of the applicable standards.
- Maintenance of the Environmental Aspects Impact Assessment (EAIA) at least on an annual basis
- Plan and direct operation activities designed to support the HSE Policy and
- Define and communicate responsibilities and authorities in order to facilitate effective, sustainable operation management.
- Maintain the Register of Legal and Other Requirements and evaluate compliance and the maintenance of the organizations objectives
- Co-ordination of monitoring and measurement, corrective and preventive action and management review
- Management of the external and internal audit program and monitor the status of fleet-wide audits and action closeouts.
- Ensure that the training required for shore and offshore personnel is in order and shipboard internal and external audits are carried out promptly
- and plan yearly shipboard safety coaching and training plan
- Responsible in chairing meeting and attend charterers health, safety, and environmental meetings and workshops
- Ensure that the external affairs are manage well liaising with the government and community, especially during crisis management.
- Maintain integrity and reliability of EnHSE data reporting & disclose non-conformance during
- Lead investigator and auditor in internal EnHSE & ISPS Office & Shipboard audits monthly or Adhoc HSSE meetings
- Promote and participate in HSE initiatives and comply with the company's HSE and other policies
- Covering the responsibility in the absence of the QHSSE Manager.
- Any other adhoc duties / projects as per assigned by Management/Company.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in any field
- Good understanding, knowledge and experience of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, Marine Operations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, & ISO45001
- HSSE Qualifications advantageous
- Willing to travel extensively
- Experience in marine assurance is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Word
