Role Overview
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining rigorous Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards across large-scale infrastructure and enterprise projects. The successful candidate will develop the operational frameworks necessary to ensure onsite activities exceed safety regulations and customer quality benchmarks. This role focuses on proactive risk prevention and systematic process control to achieve a zero-accident environment and superior service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operational Compliance & Oversight: Design and execute comprehensive site-specific QEHS strategies. You will manage onsite inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure all field operations align with international quality and operational standards.
- Standards & Auditing: Lead the management of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring ongoing adherence to ISO and industry-specific certifications. This includes coordinating third-party audits and facilitating continuous improvement through systematic root-cause analysis.
- Issue Resolution: Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) by utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and the 5-Why technique to resolve quality deviations and track performance KPIs.
- Safety & Risk Mitigation: Implement health and safety policies to foster a culture of total safety. You will conduct environmental risk assessments, lead emergency preparedness drills, and monitor occupational health performance to mitigate potential hazards.
- Lifecycle Quality Management: Partner with cross-functional technical teams to ensure quality integrity from the initial design phase through mass production. This includes overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) quality engineering processes.
- Supplier Integrity: Develop and maintain supplier quality programs, performing regular audits and ensuring that external partners adhere to stringent corrective action plans and compliance requirements.
Core Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in QEHS roles, specifically within the telecommunications or enterprise infrastructure sectors.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards; professional auditing certifications are highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience utilizing QMS/EHS management software, digital audit systems, and advanced data analysis tools.
- Safety Management: Proven ability to manage complex EHS risk assessments and maintain compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Supplier Oversight: Practical experience in managing supplier quality programs and conducting external vendor audits.
- Problem Solving: Expertise in utilizing structured quality tools (8D, FMEA, or similar) to drive operational improvements.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to evolving project scopes and collaborate effectively within diverse reporting structures.
