Job Title: QE Automation Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a QE (Quality Engineering) Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software through advanced testing and automation practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quality assurance, test automation, and a solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC). You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, build, and execute automated test frameworks that improve product reliability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.

Implement test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product stability.

Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers for resolution.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability, quality risks, and automation feasibility.

Analyze test results, generate quality reports, and ensure continuous improvement in test coverage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the development process.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong experience in Quality Engineering (QE), Quality Assurance (QA), and Test Automation.

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

Good understanding of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing or security testing tools.

Exposure to cloud-based testing (e.g., AWS, Azure).

ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
