Inspection & Quality Control
- Incoming, In-Process & Outgoing Checks: Perform quality inspections at all stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products, to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Product Audits: Carry out scheduled product audits to verify adherence to established standards.
- Interpret Engineering Drawings: Review and understand technical drawings to extract dimensions, tolerances, and specifications required for inspection and assembly.
- Perform Dimensional Inspections: Use precision measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges) to verify that physical dimensions meet specified tolerances.
- Visual Inspection: Conduct visual checks on camera assemblies at various production stages using standardized quality control procedures and checklists.
- Functional Testing: Operate test equipment to validate camera functionality according to work instructions and testing protocols.
- Identify & Document Defects: Detect, record, and report defects or non-conformities, providing clear details for corrective action and follow-up.
Collaboration & Support
- Communicate Effectively: Clearly convey inspection findings, quality status, and issues to supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Work with Production Teams: Liaise with production staff to resolve quality concerns and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in Quality Initiatives: Support quality improvement projects and process enhancements.
- Support Production: Assist with camera assembly or network setup when additional resources are required on the production line.
Documentation & Record-Keeping
- Maintain Records: Keep inspection logs updated using MS Office tools (Excel, Word) or equivalent software, ensuring accuracy and completeness of quality-related documentation.
Job Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while handling multiple tasks and ad-hoc requests.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Basic computer literacy, with hands-on experience in MS Office and data entry.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in Inspection & Quality Control
