About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and precision inspection. This role is critical in ensuring that all components and products meet stringent quality and regulatory standards across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and functional inspections (First Article, Incoming, In-Process, Outgoing) using CMM and other metrology tools
- Ensure all inspection equipment complies with calibration and preventive maintenance requirements
- Accurately record and maintain inspection and quality data in accordance with document control procedures
- Initiate and manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure proper segregation of defective parts
- Maintain product identification, traceability, and inspection status throughout production
- Support calibration activities by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Assist in preparing monthly calibration and preventive maintenance reports
- Monitor equipment compliance and escalate issues related to calibration or maintenance
- Maintain a clean and controlled manufacturing environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, yield improvement projects)
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
