Responsibilities
1. Quality Control Operations
- Supervise daily QC activities including in-process and final inspections.
- Ensure adherence to inspection plans, control plans, and sampling methods.
- Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop QC inspectors and technicians.
- Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and skill development training.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Defect Management & Analysis
- Review and analyze defect trends, yield losses, and nonconformance reports (NCRs).
- Support QEs on root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure effectiveness.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain and review quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with: ISO 9001Customer, specific quality requirements, Other relevant standards
- Participate in internal and external audits (customer audits, certification audits).
5. Equipment & Inspection Tools Management
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Work with metrology teams to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- At least 3 years working experience related to QC and people management
- Ability to follow procedures and processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements.
- Proficient with computer-based productivity tools (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Proactive, energetic and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to details and able to work individually or as a team
- Versatile and have a keen interest in learning and solving problems.
