We are seeking a highly skilled QC Superintendent to lead our Quality Control team and ensure compliance with international standards, customer requirements, and Oil States internal procedures. This senior role oversees all QC activities from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring products meet the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise QC Engineers, Inspectors, and other QC staff members.
- Oversee daily QC activities: welding, fit-up, dimensional checks, NDT (UT, PAUT, MT/PT), hardness testing, etc.
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO, ASME, ASNT, and customer specifications.
- Manage calibration of QC gauges and NDT equipment.
- Apply advanced NDT methods (PAUT, TOFD, TFM, TECA, ET).
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and 3rd party inspectors.
- Train inspectors and transfer technical knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with Oil States Quality and HSE Management System and Quality and HSE Policies.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science.
- NDT Level III in UT & PAUT/TOFD (ISO 9712 or PCN).
- Minimum 10 years experience in Ultrasonic Testing.
- Experience in production/manufacturing environments.
- Preferred: NDT Level II in MPI/DPI, CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector, ASNT Level III in MPI/DPI.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word).
