QC Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a QC Manager to enhance our Quality Control team in Singapore, responsible for ensuring compliance in testing and releasing raw materials and finished goods. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the local QC function, ensuring governance in raw material and finished goods testing and release. Collaborate with QA, Production, and other departments to align release decisions and escalation processes. Ensure compliance with food safety management systems, including FSSC 22000 and HACCP. Manage daily activities of the QC laboratory, including sample testing priorities and external lab coordination. Lead investigations into deviations and abnormalities, documenting resolutions and follow-ups effectively. Develop and maintain a comprehensive QC knowledge base, ensuring documentation of processes and customer requirements. Coach and develop the QC team, fostering a structured and accountable work environment.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, or related scientific discipline. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in QC/laboratory settings, preferably in related manufacturing environments. Prior experience in a QC leadership or supervisory role is preferred. Understanding of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP requirements is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of improving workflow and structure within the QC function.
