QC Inspector (Transportation Infrastructure)

The Opportunity

Our client is a global leader in engineering and infrastructure solutions, specializing in large-scale energy and transportation projects. With a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region, they are currently spearheading a major systems upgrade for a high-profile project in Singapore. They are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Site QC Inspector to join their project team and ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site Quality Control inspections for critical systems, including Platform Screen Doors, UPS, SCADA, Communication, and Signalling systems.

• Inspection & Testing: Oversee and implement all on-site inspection and testing procedures to ensure project compliance.

• Defect Management: Promptly report all defects identified during inspections or upon receipt of on-site items to the QA Engineer.

• Documentation Control: Manage and maintain critical quality documentation, including Inspection Notices, Inspection Reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

• Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain professional communication and serve as a point of contact for the Owner and subcontractors.

• Site Monitoring: Monitor site conditions and manage the inspection schedule to ensure project milestones are met.

• Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation and submission of regular quality reports to both the QA Engineer and Management.

Requirements

We are looking for a collaborative team player with a strong commitment to the job and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Education: Diploma level qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant QC Inspection experience for project sites.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience with Automated Guideway Transit (AGT), Light Rail Transit (LRT), or E&M projects is a significant advantage.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and technical knowledge required for material controlling.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Job Type: 2 years, renewable contract
