Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of parts, components, and assemblies using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to verify compliance
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality objectives are met
- Assist in audits (internal/external) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure tools and measuring equipment are calibrated and properly maintained
Requirements:
- GCE O/N Levels, NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a QC role within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems preferred
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
