QC Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly disciplined Quality Inspector to inspect and authenticate electronic components and semiconductor parts in compliance with industry standards and counterfeit mitigation requirements. The candidate will perform incoming inspection, counterfeit screening, documentation review, and quality reporting for electronic components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of electronic components and semiconductor devices

• Conduct visual inspection using microscope and inspection tools

• Verify manufacturer traceability documents and Certificates of Conformance

• Generate inspection and rejection reports

• Coordinate external testing

• Segregate and control suspect counterfeit material

• Support supplier quality investigations and customer audits

• Maintain proper ESD handling and inspection records

About you

• 1-3 years experience in electronic component inspection

• 1-3 years experience in semiconductor industry

• 1-3 years experience in QA/QC environment

• 1-3 years experience in independent electronic component distribution

• Experience with counterfeit detection

• Familiarity with AS6081 / AS6171 / ISO9001

• Knowledge of electronic components identification

• Knowledge of IC package types, Semiconductor components, memory modules

• ESD handling

• Use of inspection microscope, Dimensional measurements, Counterfeit detection techniques

• Reading datasheets and manufacturer specifications
