QC Inspector (Production/Project)

Work Location: Ang Mo Kio

Working Hours / Days: 0830 - 1800 / Monday - Friday

Job Description:

. Report directly to the QA Engineer (Product/Project) andassist him/her on all QA/QC activities

. Maintain and implement quality program for the activities inthe project to meet the quality objectives and goals.

. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspectionsfor production and site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings,specifications, ITPs, and relevant standards

. Verify material identification, traceability, andpreservation throughout production and installation stages

. Conduct site inspections to check installationquality, alignment, positioning, and overall workmanship against approvedmethod statements and safety requirements

. Ensure compliance with project specifications, riskassessments, and authority requirements (e.g. client, HTX, LTA)

. Coordinate inspections with subcontractors,supervisors, and project teams, and verify closure of punch list items

. Support and witness testing and commissioningactivities (FAT, SAT, integrated system testing), ensuring approved procedures,proper documentation, and calibrated instruments

. Identify defects and ensure timely rectification andre-testing

. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists,and test records, ensuring proper filing and traceability for audit readiness

. Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports(NCRs) and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions

. Support root cause analysis (RCA) where required

. Liaise with engineers, vendors, subcontractors, andclient representatives and support audits, inspections, and compliance checks

Job Requirements:

- Diploma /ITE / Technical Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical orequivalent)

- Must be aSingapore Citizen, as some projects require at least Category 2A clearance.

- RelevantQA/QC certifications preferred (e.g., IPC-A-610 (CIS) - Acceptability ofElectronic Assemblies, IPC J-STD-001 (CIS) - Soldering Standard, ESD ControlCertification etc.)

- ISO 9001QA/QC awareness (audit readiness)

- Minimum2-5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in:

- Manufacturing/ production environment/Construction / installation projects

- Exposureto system testing and commissioning is an advantage

- Strongknowledge of: Inspection methods and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) & Drawinginterpretation and technical specifications

- Familiarwith QA/QC documentation and audit requirements

- Non-ConformanceReport (NCR) management and corrective action processes

- Goodcoordination and communication skills

- Strongattention to detail and sense of responsibility

- Expected to havegood command in MS Office, presentation skills and report- writing skills
