QC INSPECTOR

Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for supervising/performing the steel works inspections on site as a third party in accordance with projects / consultant specifications with reference to International standards to support the achievement of the sales targets.

Job Description:

Inspection Preparation Works

Plan the inspection jobs for the assigned project as per approved Inspection Test plans (ITP):

Perform reviewing activities to ensure meeting the project requirements:

Inspection Works on Site

Carry out the assigned inspection jobs as per client requirements:

Resolve any inspection issues:

Completion of Inspection Reports

Prepare inspection reports for submission to client:

Submit inspection reports/certification for review and billing process:

Supporting Duties

Prepare for new tests / certification as per organisation requirement

Prepare /Update the calibration records and internal procedures for audits

Recommend relevant testing services to clients

Coach and guide staff on the job

Job Requirement:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering

2 years experience in Building Structural Steel works inspection

Experience in Oil & Gas shutdown projects

Able to do punch list and Piping inspection

2 years in construction/marine construction and oil & gas.

Certified with AWS CWI/SCWI or CSWIP 3.1/ 3.2 - WI
