Ensure quality of work is carried out in accordance with the approved Quality Management Plan, including the development of Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists.
Oversee proper handling, storage, and handover processes for materials in compliance with quality requirements.
Monitor the implementation of Project Quality and Environmental Plans across site activities.
Assist in the preparation of project-specific Quality Plans aligned with client and contractual requirements.
Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and ensure timely closure of identified issues.
Witness and verify all inspection and testing activities within the assigned discipline.
Execute and maintain Inspection & Test Plans in compliance with contract specifications.
Perform inspections, record findings, and ensure all works meet required quality standards.
Communicate and ensure site personnel understand quality control requirements and procedures.
Audit and monitor Quality Control and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness.
Manage non-conformance processes, including issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), coordinating corrective actions, and verifying their effectiveness.
Control and track revisions and issuance of quality documents and drawings on-site.
Ensure all quality control procedures and measures are properly documented, implemented, and auditable.
Support the Project Manager in document control and quality-related documentation.
Maintain accurate quality records and perform periodic inspections of ongoing works.
Ensure all quality-related activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Support both day and night shift operations as required.
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent), preferably within the construction industry.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quality assurance/control.
Experience in rail projects, particularly with LTA projects in Singapore, is an added advantage.
Prior experience in construction, structural, civil, or related engineering fields candidates at the supervisory or managerial level are preferred.
Familiarity with ISO standards, including ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 18000.
