Job Summary:

The position will be responsible for coordinating daily QC operations to ensure quality testing of materials meets approved specifications. The role also involves managing internal quality documents and coordinating with different departments within the company.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Perform quality tests on raw materials and finished goods, adhering to established protocols and standards
  2. Manage quality data to ensure traceability in SAP system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  3. Facilitate tests with external parties, liaising with third-party laboratories as needed
  4. Maintain lab equipment and facilities to comply with regulations, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and in proper working order
  5. Maintain quality-related documents and reports, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods
  6. Coordinate with different departments on quality issue troubleshooting and non-conformance investigations
  7. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality management systems
  8. Conduct regular training sessions for laboratory staff on quality control procedures and best practices
  9. Monitor and analyse trends in quality data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  10. Collaborate with the R&D team to support new product development and existing product improvements
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment
  12. Other duties as assigned by R&D Manager
