Responsibilities:
- Preparation and development of the Quality Assurance Plan, and compilation of the input provided by the project team members. Review and endorse other quality system documents including Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and where appropriate work procedure / instructions and ensure proper record
- Ensure that the project quality requirements are understood by the project personnel
- Ensure that quality control is conducted efficiently and effectively, in liaison with the Planning, Engineering and Construction Teams and other project staff responsible for quality control activities
- Support the QA/QC activities for mechanical & electrical, civil & structural, architectural works, underground and above ground work
- Assist in addressing official customer complaints related to quality management system. Ensure that all project quality-related problems are solved in an efficient and effective manner
- Assist in ensuring that liaison between the Project Quality Management and the Client Quality Management is effectively established. Act as the quality coordinator in all dealings with the Client regarding quality matters
- Carry-out random checks to verify that the Management System is being followed on site and that the quality of works and materials is in accordance with industry compliance and contractual requirements
- Lead and carry-out and/or arrange internal quality audits including audits of suppliers, sub-contractors and consultants as necessary. Maintain all records of such audits.
- Review and monitor the status of non-conformance reports recommend corrective actions and verify the required actions have been taken
- Responsible for the control of project quality records
- Identify potential technical issues and provide recommendations to rectify it
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5-8 years experience in a similar role
- Candidates who possess experience in QA/QC activities in data center / LTA projects will have an added advantage
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
