Qualifications
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, experience with Java collections, exceptions, and file I/O.
* Strong understanding of testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
Strong experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
Solid understanding of Rest Assured for API testing, understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML parsing.
Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle for project dependency management and build automation.
Strong expertise with Jenkins for CI/CD.
Competence in using Git and GitHub for source code management.
Familiarity with IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, etc).
Good understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
Proficiency in SQL for writing and executing queries.
Ability to work effectively in a DevOps environment where Dev and QA collaborate closely.
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communications skills

Key Responsibilities
Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests
Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.
Ensure the robustness and reusability of the automation frameworks.
Create and manage API automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured.
Validate and verify APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Configure and maintain automation jobs on remote machines via Jenkins.
Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, branching, and merging.
Collaborate with team members through code reviews and pull requests.
Setup, configure, and maintain test environments
Participate in deploying code to QA servers on Linux systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux systems as necessary.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper database structure and indexing.
Work closely with both Development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Participate actively in all phases of the development process, including planning, design, implementation, and testing.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Follow best practices for coding, automation, and framework design.
Work effectively with test lead and test engineers and acquire technical guidance from peers as appropriate
