Applause is looking for a QA Tester with proficiency testing on Android devices to work directly with a global technology client's QA team based in Singapore. This role will focus on apps testing across a myriad of Android devices.
Basic terms:

- Duration: 6 month renewable basis
- Capacity: Up to 40 hours per week local standard business hours, Monday-Friday with as needed meetings with the US-based team
- Pay range: $23-$25 USD per hour

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans and test cases;
- Identify and document defects, issues, and risks during the testing process.
- Perform regression testing for all the launched features;
- Test benches maintenance. The QA tester will be a frequent user of the test benches, thus needs to learn how to use and debug on the test benches, and is responsible for communicating with the bench providers to fix issues;
- Support the Android Engineering team based in the US to perform ad-hoc testing on devices from our phone OEM partners in APAC.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
- Proficiency using ADB commands
- 3+ years experience of QA testing for Android applications
- Must be able to go into the Singapore office to perform testing
- Good communication skills
- Quick learner, able to onboard quickly and become mostly self-sufficient in conducting activities
