Job Summary
Lead quality assurance activities for Temenos banking platform implementations, managing test strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with banking standards to deliver high-quality core banking transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA activities for Temenos implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects to ensure delivery of high-quality banking solutions
- Prepare and manage comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with project requirements
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, solution architects, and client stakeholders to define testing scope and clarify requirements
- Execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and Integration Testing for Temenos modules
- Validate interfaces between Temenos and external banking systems including payments, channels, middleware, and third-party applications to ensure seamless integration
- Lead defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues promptly, maintaining project quality and timelines
- Manage and allocate tasks effectively within the QA team to optimize resource utilization and productivity
- Track testing progress, monitor quality metrics, assess risks, and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure QA processes comply with banking compliance, security, and quality standards to mitigate operational risks
- Support automation initiatives and drive continuous improvement in QA methodologies and processes
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong experience in Temenos T24 / Transact platform
- Experience testing Temenos modules including Core Banking, Accounts, Deposits, Lending, Payments, Customer & KYC Treasury module experience preferred
- Strong understanding of banking operations and financial products to inform effective test coverage
- Proficient in Functional Testing, API Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT Coordination
- Knowledge of Temenos architecture, interfaces, and software lifecycle to guide testing activities
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, and TestRail
- Good understanding of SQL and backend validation to verify data integrity and system behavior
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage client expectations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI, or Tosca to enhance testing efficiency
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models to support iterative development and testing cycles
- Experience in Temenos upgrade or migration projects to manage complex system changes
- ISTQB certification as a recognized software testing qualification
- Experience working with international banking clients to navigate diverse regulatory and operational environments
