Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web and Appium for mobile applications.
- Utilize Perfecto for cross-platform and cross-device testing in a cloud-based environment.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and compatibility testing across web and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
- Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into automation strategies.
- Conduct validation of banking-specific features such as login/authentication, fund transfers, payments, and account management.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor test executions, analyse results, log defects, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Document automation framework updates, test execution results, and QA best practices.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Design and implement test scenarios, including both positive and negative testing.
- Perform various types of manual testing, such as functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
- Track and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
- Provide feedback on user experience and usability.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to contribute to the testing process.
- Maintain detailed records of test results, defects, and resolutions.
- Create and update test documentation as needed.
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Knowledge of different operating systems and platforms.
