The QA Technician is responsible for supporting the QA Engineer and conduct inspection checks. The role also supports investigations, CAPA, training, and continuous improvement activities.
Job Description
- Monitor QA Inspectors activities and report to QA Engineer.
- Assist in the training of QA Inspectors and QA Technical Assistant.
- Perform measurement such as PCB warpage (bowl and twist) and product verification activities.
- Assist in maintain, update and manage IQA and OQA databases and quality documents and records.
- Ensure all non-conforming materials, components, and products are properly identified, documented, and placed on hold when defects are detected at any quality control station.
- Perform ESD checks and audits (where required) to ensure compliance with ESD control requirements.
- Make routine quality decisions based on approved specifications, standards, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
- Generate simple reports and summaries (where required).
- Perform basic investigations, root cause analysis, and defect trend analysis on non-conforming products and quality issues.
- Support the QA Department Head and QA Engineer in equipment qualification, validation, calibration, and verification activities.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify the effectiveness of corrective measures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or a related field.

- Basic knowledge of electronic components or PCB assemblies is an advantage.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow work instructions.
