Summary:
Supporting final inspection verification process improvement initiative, perform inspections, checks, tests, and inspection of incoming materials, parts and components used in the assembled jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Incoming Quality Check, Quality In-Process and Outgoing Quality Check, per assigned task.
- Provide Job status and Inspection report findings to Team Leads/ Management.
- Support in the final verification process prior to job approval and job receipt.
- Provide guidance to colleagues and mentor new hires
- Assist in generating checklist for FA projects and sustaining projects
- Support in the preparation and issuance of related DMR/ CAR
- Communicate Quality Alerts when applicable
- Perform complete FA dimensional checks.
- Assist with Supplier Site source inspection, Audit and Report documentation
- Mechanically inclined and hands-on individual.
- Produce quality work on time, ensure associates observe in-line quality protocols.
- Performing other duties as assigned, including minor touch up/ repair works as needed.
- Willing to be trained in the following areas: reading drawing, inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment.
- Use appropriate forms transactions such as Incoming/ Outgoing Checklist, Parts Replacement Form, Torque Check Form, etc
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Sustain a safe and clean working environment.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 2 - 3 years hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
- Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
