We are seeking a Quality Assurance Senior Executive (Food Safety) to join our growing team as part of our department's expansion. You will be responsible for ensuring food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are consistently maintained across our production facility and retail outlets, while supporting compliance with SFA regulations, ISO 22000, and company policies.
Conduct routine quality and food safety inspections across production and retail operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor product quality, hygiene practices, environmental hygiene, and sample retention programmes.
Coordinate laboratory testing and product sampling, review results, and implement corrective actions where required.
Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System (FSMS), food safety documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate internal audits, external certification audits, regulatory inspections, and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance and timely closure of audit findings.
Ensure food safety records and documentation are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Production, Operations, R&D, and Retail teams to resolve food safety and quality issues while driving continuous improvement.
Develop and conduct food safety, hygiene, and GMP training programmes for employees.
Keep abreast of changes in food safety regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety within the food manufacturing, central kitchen, food production, or FMCG industry.
Working knowledge of SFA regulations, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, MUIS Halal requirements, and other relevant food safety standards.
Experience supporting food safety systems, documentation, and internal/external audits.
Confident in liaising with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), MUIS, certification bodies, and external auditors on food safety and quality-related matters.
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying quality improvement opportunities and resolving operational issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work eAectively across departments.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to work in the West.
5-day work week on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays where operationally required.
